Flute<http://oberlin.edu/artsguide/opera-theater/2-magic-flute.shtml>before,
but you've never seen it like this.
*In Oberlin Opera Theater's bold new interpretation, opening next Wednesday
evening with additional performances Friday and Saturday at 8 p.m. and
Sunday at 2 p.m., characters appear on video screens mounted throughout the
set and sing a new, contemporary English translation one critic called "so
full of fun you might forget you're at the opera." As always, the production
features exceptional young singers from the Oberlin Conservatory of Music on
the cusp of professional operatic careers.

Whether or not you've seen the opera before, chances are you know the music.
>From the first notes of the overture to the Queen of the Night's devilish
high F's, Mozart's score has captured the imaginations of generations of
listeners. Discover why many consider *The Magic Flute* to be one of his
greatest works.
