[NEohioPAL] Cultural performers, artists, food vendors needed for August event in Medina, Ohio

Main Street Medina is planning a huge, one-day Cultural Heritage Day event
for Saturday, August 29th, 2009

 

The event will be from 10am-10pm, with the bulk of entertainment taking
place in and around our town square from 10am-8pm

 

We are currently looking for performers representing world cultures,
ethnicities, nationalities, etc to entertain the crowds as well as educate
them on your particular cultural/ethnic background.

 

Our budget is very limited, but we will be paying nominal stipends to
performers who are included in the day.

 

We also are looking for artists or cultural groups that would like to
display and sell works of art, fiber arts, ceramics, baskets, etc in the
International Bazaar. Churches and non-profit communities with strong ethnic
ties are encouraged to participate. There is a small booth/space rental fee.

 

Church groups or food vendors that sell ethnic foods are also encouraged to
contact Main Street Medina
