A mere day after St. Patrick's day festivities, come back down to earth with
The Oddy Festival's final presentation of "On Being Human," a
music/movie/play program centered on what keeps us human on such hung-over
days as Wednesday, March 18th. We've got the acoustic musical stylings of *Kim
Aldrich-Ceja*, the premiere of the short film "*Losing the Hemingway*" by
Matt Greenfield, and a staged reading of a new Jonathan Wilhelm work, "*Kiss,
Laugh, Cry, Converse*." The movie and the play feature (fake) alcohol, if
that's any consolation. See you Wednesday night at 7 (6:45 for a special
pre-show essay reading) at the Heights Arts Studio (2340 Lee Road-- across
from the Cleveland Heights Library).

*The SEVENTH ODDY FEST SHOW*:

*On Being Human*

*“Kiss, Laugh, Cry, Converse”* by Jonathan Wilhelm*

*(staged reading directed by Cat R. Kenney)*

* *

“KLCC” is a play about psychic phenomena, a surprise party, a heart attack,
an alcoholic parent and an award-winning essay about the human condition. It
tries to explain why your gay best friend understands you, but your
boyfriend doesn't; when knowing too much about someone is just too much; and
how to react when your teenager trades New Age ideals for Catholic Theology.
It's messy and complicated, just like life.

What can you do but laugh?

*“Losing the Hemingway” by Matt Greenfield*

*Directed by Tom Kondilas*

*The second OddyFest movie!*

This black-and-white short documents the final days in the life (or first
days in the afterlife) of one Ernest Miller Hemingway.

*That’s not all!*

*Be sure to join us at 7 o’clock sharp for the musical stylings of*

*Kim Aldrich-Ceja and come a little before 7 for Matt Greenfield’s essay: *“
*I Am the Walrus and the Carpenter”: A Literary Study of Hindu & Buddhist
Influences on Two English Cultural Icons*

**
* *

* MARCH 18th*

*7:00 P.M.*

*(doors open at 6:45)*

* *

*HEIGHTS ARTS STUDIO*

*2340 Lee Road (across the bridge)*

*(on the west side of the Cleveland Heights Library)*

* *

*ALL TICKETS $10*!*

* *

**Proceeds go to The David Feldt Institute, a branch of the AIDS Taskforce.*
