The Ashtabula Arts Center Offers Middle Eastern Cooking

 

Experience the vibrant flavors and foods of the Arab world and get a glimpse into the unique aspects of this rich culture as you learn how to cook Middle Eastern food like a pro. 

Cooking instructor, Nancy Bazyan, will show you easy to prepare, wonderful-to-look-at-dishes when she teaches two Middle Eastern Cooking Classes at the Ashtabula Arts Center during the months of March and April.  You will discover the rich, aromatic flavors of countries where food is an intrinsic part of the culture and the sharing of meals with family and guests is a feature of daily life. 

Class #1 will be held on Tuesday, March 24th from 6 - 8:30 p.m.  Cost of the class is $30.  In this class Nancy will be preparing a main dish of lamb and rice, fattoush salad, an appetizer and dessert.

Class #2 will be held Tuesday, April 21st from 6 - 8:30 p.m.  Cost of the class is $30.  In this class Nancy will be preparing a main dish of a variety of kabobs, hummus, a side dish and dessert.

Bring your interest and your appetite!  Dinner is included in the price of the class! 

Preregistration is required and can be made by calling the Arts Center at (440) 964-3396.  The Arts Center is located at 2928 W. 13th Street in Ashtabula.
