All City Art Show at Arts Collinwood Gallery  -- and more great openings in April
 
Cleveland’s All City Art show, presented in conjunction with the National Arts Program, will open with a free public reception on April 9, 2009 at the Arts Collinwood Gallery.  The city’s popular program, which features art from Cleveland residents of all ages and artistic backgrounds, is in its second year at this North Collinwood venue.  Last year, nearly 200 entries filled the gallery, and this year looks to be even more successful.
 
All Cleveland residents are invited to submit work by the March 28 deadline, to be included in the show and eligible for cash awards.  Judging takes place April 4.  And whether you enter work in the show or not, you can enjoy the free public reception, with food, drink and entertainment on Thursday, April 9 from 6-9pm.  Art enthusiasts of all ages are welcome.

Sneak Preview – and Art Parties all over Waterloo!  April 3 is a great night out
 
Want to take a look before the judges?  Join Arts Collinwood for a sneak preview party on Friday, April 3 from 6-9pm.  Free and open to the public, with refreshments and the chance to make your own picks for best entries in each category.  And while you’re on Waterloo April 3, don’t miss the opening of Upstage Players’ Production of Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat – tickets are just $5 in advance.  And you can also enjoy free receptions at the new Wunderkind children’s art gallery opening at 16005 Waterloo Rd, at Lowlife Gallery, and at Shoparooni’s Annex.  It’s a great evening out on Waterloo!
