Solon Center for the Arts is accepting applications for the Part Time Art
Instructor.



Qualified Applicants must have completed a Bachelor of Arts degree in Art or
have earned an Art Education degree from an accredited institution. Graduate
experience a plus. Interested applicants must have at least one year of
teaching experience.  Responsibilities include lesson creation, planning,
preparation and instruction that is both technical and Art History based for
preschool through seniors. This position involves daytime and evening hours
starting immediately. Hourly rate is based upon previous teaching experience
and can range from $22.00 to $25.00 per hour.



Candidates for the art instructor position will work closely with the Arts
Programming Specialist and will be able to work with students of all ages
and skill levels. Applicants must be professional and display leadership
qualities in a classroom setting. Excellent problem solving skills,
organizational skills and interpersonal communications a must. Applicants
must be able to work in a flexible team environment.
