AUDITIONS
WVIZ/PBS and WCPN 90.3 ideastream, and Applewood announce auditions for
a video project consisting of a series of scenes that dramatize conflict
and aggression in the school classroom.
The dramatic scenes will be directed by Fred Sternfeld, Artistic
Director for the Fairmount Performing Arts Conservatory. These dramatic
scenes will be part of a media-based training program for teachers.
Casting / Roles
We are looking for 15 - 20 multi-ethnic / multi-racial (Caucasian,
African-American, Hispanic, Asian, etc.) young people who can believably
play characters 14 - 15 years old.
Audition Times and Locations
Saturday, April 18, from 1:00 to 6:00 p.m. at Mayfield Village Civic
Center, 6620 Wilson Mills Road, Mayfield Village, Oh
Sunday, April 19, from 6:00 to 9:00 p.m. at the Idea Center, 1375 Euclid
Ave. Cleveland, OH 44115
Callbacks will be held on Saturday, April 25, at 1:00 p.m. at Mayfield
Village Civic Center, 6620 Wilson Mills Road, Mayfield Village, Oh
Audition Appointments and Preparation
Auditions are by appointment only. Please prepare a one minute
memorized contemporary monologue, or you may read something which we
will provide to you when you arrive. Arrive at least fifteen minutes
early to fill out an audition form. Bring a resume and headshot or
school picture.

Production Dates
Actors selected must be available for rehearsal and production all day
on Saturday, May 23 and Sunday, May 24.
Compensation
The student actors will be appearing in this video production on a
volunteer basis.
