The last time I sent an e-mail, it was with regards to the Heights
Emergency Food Center.  I am both pleased and thankful to announce that
I do have a lots of friends out there.  You folks really came through.
I don't want to say that food and monetary donations flooded HEFC, but
according to my sources, the organization was more than pleasantly
surprised and pleased..  A great big thank you to all of you who
contributed.  Hunger in our neighborhoods, or anywhere, is not a good
thing.  I ask you to please continue to donate food to this wonderful
organization.

By the way, unlike most not-for-profit
organizations, every person who works at HEFC is a volunteer.  100% of
all food and money goes directly into the program and is distributed
directly to the individuals who seek their assistance.  Many of these
volunteers have given up of their spare time to make the lives of
people in our community better.  Some have done it for more than ten
years.  Please continue to help out if you can..  The website is:

In
the spirit of food, which seams to be a theme of this e-mail, I, Steve
Presser had the Jewish version of "A Christmas Story" movie's father's
plight.  It was Passover last evening and as tradition has it, the
Apple-Presser family gets together with family and friends to share a
Seder meal.  My mother-in-law, Janice, makes one helluva chopped
liver.  Well, you get it.  Either Fido or Tiger climbed up on the
table, knocked over the dish, and ate all of the chopped liver.  So you
see, how I can related to the father in "A Christmas Story".  The dogs
continue to feel the wrath of Grandma Jan's wonderfully rich chopped
liver.

And now, for the third part of this food e-mail.  My good
friend Matt Fish, from a wonderful restaurant on the West Side of
Cleveland called Melt, and I have gotten together for a promotion.
Those of you who are familiar with the famous East-West saga of our
dear city will hopefully delight in this promotion.  Enjoy, enjoy,
enjoy.
