World Premiere of "Crossing Bridges" by Cecilia Smith

Composer, educator and recording artist Cecilia Smith is among the
leading vibraphonists of the four-mallet technique in the United States.
Her stunning new collaborative work, "Crossing Bridges - An Inter-Media
Work of Music and Visualizations," features music, video and spoken word
to explore the rich tapestry of identity and the collective human
experience.  The evening-length piece is a culmination of Smith's
year-long residency at Tri-C, courtesy of a Joyce Award, and includes
contributions from Tri-C students and faculty from a diverse array of
disciplines.
