Three of us went to see "Odd Couple" this afternoon (Sunday), and what a pleasant experience it was! I have seen the play perhaps 10 different times, and I have played Gwendolyn in two different theatres.
This was the best Odd Couple performance I have ever seen. It difficult to believe that this was community theatre. The performances were spot on; everyone was perfectly cast. There was a special chemistry between Oscar and Felix. Kudos to the entire cast, director Fred Sternfeld, and everyone behind the scenes who made this a perfectly wonderful show!
Also, the new theatre is beautiful and comfortable! Thank you for having us...we had a great time!

Subject: [NEohioPAL] Fwd: SPECIAL FREE PERFORMANCE! - THEATRE MATINEE FORODD COUPLE
Hello Everyone!
We're 'comping' you for the Sunday April 26 performance of THE ODD COUPLE!
As many of you know, this is our first crack at a professional show for FPAC - THE ODD COUPLE in our new theatre at Mayfield Village. Fairmount and Mayfield Village have partnered to develop a very comfortable and fun new performing space - a $350,000 renovation! Comfortable chairs - lots of leg room.
So we reaching out to everyone to really help us celebrate our new endeavor by filling our seats and ratcheting up our word of mouth. And yes, it's true: we've all seen The Odd Couple one place or another - On TV, in the theatre, at the movies. But what you haven't seen is The Odd Couple with Brian Zoldessy's hysterical Felix and Scott Hankin's funny and grumpy Oscar along with a crew of wonderful actors you all know: Kirk Brown, Noah Budin, Bobby Thomas, Bob Abelman, Carla Petrosky and Amy Pawlukiewicz. The show of course is directed with a terrific comic touch by Artistic Director, Fred Sternfeld.
So please join us and laugh along with us. At the box office window, use the special password, NEOPAL, and you'll be given free tickets for the show. The show starts at 2:30. The theatre is at the corner of Wilson Mills and SOM Center Roads in Mayfield Village (6622 Wilson Mills Road). For more information call 440-338-3171.
I hope to see you there.
