The time has come again

to celebrate the most important women in
our lives, our mothers!

We
invite you to join us in a special evening honoring mothers.   Hasani Management’s Annual Black Tie
Mother’s Day Celebration is just one of the many events our organization hosts to
fulfill our mission and raise awareness for special needs children.

This black tie formal affair will include
opening performances by the Cleveland School of the Arts Urban Dance
Collective, a formal dinner, fashion show, awards, silent auction and reception.  Vendors will be onsite for gift purchases.

This
year we will award Shari Goldberg with the title of “2009
Mother of the Year”.  Shari is a mother who is passionate in making
a difference in other people’s lives.
After Shari’s son was diagnosed with Autism she made the choice to not
be victimized from this mental disorder, but to be victorious and find ways to
cope and ultimately help her son live a successful life despite the
disorder.  Four years ago, she started
the first Autism Speaks Chapter in Ohio.
Her mission is to educate, assist and give back her experience,
knowledge and understanding about the disorder.
The Northeast Ohio Autism Speaks Chapter continues to grow and support
families and children in this area and throughout the country.

We
will also award Judge Sara J. Harper
with the title of “2009 Phenomenal Woman”.  In
addition to being a phenomenal mother, Judge Sara J. Harper has 56 years of
legal experience representing judiciary and military law.  She was the first African American woman to
graduate from Case Western Reserve University Law School.  In 1974, she was certified as the first
female military judge in the history of the United States Marine Corps
Reserves.  She also co-founded the first
victims’ rights program in the country.
Judge Harper is also the recipient of many awards including the NAACP’s
unsung Heroine award and Raymond Pace award.
