Meet artist and author JoAnn DePolo Friday May 1 at The Artists Archives of the Western Reserve 11th Annual May Members Show opening reception. Selected abstract works by JoAnn DePolo are featured in this group show.  On display by DePolo are Waters Edge a piece that captures the dramatic view from atop a waterfall and Water Circles, a playful piece that reveals more than the obvious. Also available for sale by DePolo is her book titled Making It As An Artist, written to encourage both emerging and established artists. Making It As An Artist is endorsed by professionals in the field.

JoAnn DePolo is a contemporary acrylic painter and author of Making It As An Artist. JoAnn is a trainer of the arts helping others to connect with and express their love of creating. Regarded as a visionary in her field by critics, DePolo’s audience extends from her hometown to the national and international.  Several celebrities own DePolo originals including world renowned artist Peter Max and Major League ball player Omar Vizquel.  JoAnn DePolo is founder and director Come & Create Fine Arts and Come & Create Community Murals.

Enjoy a panoply of artwork created by members of the Artists Archives including paintings, sculptures, drawings, photographs and much more.

The May Members Show begins with an opening reception on Friday, May 1, 2009 from 6:00 pm to 8:30 pm. The reception, and the ongoing exhibition, are free and open to the public. Regular gallery hours are Wednesday through Friday from 10:00 am to 4:00 pm and Saturday 12 noon to 4:00 pm.
