Public Service Announcement:

Recently nominated to receive the prestigious Yale University 2009 Distinguished Music Educator Award for his work as Music Department Head at Shaker High School, Dr. Robert Schneider, Music? Director and Organist at the church? will join Betty Meyers, Assistant Music Director, in recital at 1:30 PM Sunday, May 17 at the First Baptist Church of Greater Cleveland at 3630 Fairmount Boulevard at Eaton Road in Shaker Heights.? Dr. Schneider and Ms. Meyers will perform works for piano, organ, two pianos, piano and organ, and four hands on the organ.? In addition to works by Bach, Debussy and 

?

Tchaikovsky, the program will include a suite of traditional Gospel Hymns and a setting of For All the Saints for four hands on the organ.? Solo piano literature by Chopin and Ginastera and solo organ works by Lidon and Lefebure-Wely will also be performed.? The concert is free and open to the public.? A free will offering will be taken.? Visa and MasterCard accepted.
