AUDITION ANNOUNCEMENT

2009/2010 SCA JR. SHOW CHOIR CLASS

SCA JUNIOR SHOW CHOIR CLASS (Grades 7- 9) McPherson & Shaffer
SCA Junior Show Choir Camp: Wednesday, Thursday and Friday 6:00 pm - 9:00 pm

August 19, 20 and 21 *For registered members only
Weekly Rehearsals: Saturdays 9:00 am - 11:00 am
September 12 - April 3 * Approximately 27 Classes and 5 Performances

The SCA Junior Show Choir Class will allow students to develop both vocal
and dance technique in a fun and upbeat environment while exploring great
music from the world of Musical Theater and beyond. Students will benefit by
performing in and around the Solon community at places such as; Solon Center
for the Arts, Beachwood Place and other venues. This will help prepare them
for Theater, Dance and Music prospects in their future. Students will be
accepted into this class by audition only. Current members must re-audition
for the 2009-2010 season.

Vocal Auditions: Saturday, June 20 (10:00 am - 12:00 pm) *Students need to
call SCA and make an appointment for their vocal audition. Each student is
asked to prepare 16-bars of a song that best highlights their vocal skills
and bring the sheet music for the accompanist to the audition.

Dance Audition: Saturday, June 20 (12:00 pm - 1:30 pm) *Each student must
also complete a dance audition. Students will stay for the entire time and
learn and repeat a dance.

Tuition:$450.00 + $100.00 costume fee *Costumes will remain the same from
the 08 - 09 season. Costume fees cover all costs except dance shoes. All
students will be responsible for obtaining specific type, style and color
specified by SCA.
