*The Cleveland Shakespeare Festival, in its 12th Season in Repertory
Theater,*
*Announces The Casts of *
*Antony & Cleopatra and The Winter’s Tale*
The Cleveland Shakespeare Festival, Cleveland’s only source for FREE outdoor
Shakespearean Theater, announces the cast of its 12th season. This season,
CSF will be presenting William Shakespeare’s* Antony & Cleopatra* and *The
Winter’s Tale*.
The Cleveland Shakespeare Festival is dedicated to bringing plays of
professional quality to audiences in the Greater Cleveland area as a way of
encouraging community through theater. By performing outdoors in various
locations throughout Northeast Ohio, CSF reaches audience members that might
be less likely to travel to a downtown theater or may be uncomfortable in a
more traditional theater setting.
CSF celebrates the talents of local artists in all aspects of production and
believes in the potential of local theater students. It is no surprise then
that the cast of The Cleveland Shakespeare Festival’s 12th season is a
combination of company veterans and local college level theater students.

audience members to pack a picnic and bring blankets or lawn chairs to
comfortably enjoy the unique and scenic outdoor venues at which CSF will be
performing. In the event of rain each venue, except Penitentiary Glen,
offers an indoor performance space. If there is inclement weather on July 11
or 12 at Penitentiary Glen performances will be canceled.
The Cleveland Shakespeare Festival invites all of Northeast Ohio to enjoy
the weather, support the incredible local talent, and be inspired by the
Bard’s timeless words. In keeping with its mission statement to produce
free, accessible Shakespearian Theater for the people of Northeastern Ohio,
all of CSF’s 2009 Season performances are free of charge and open to the
general public.
