Celebrate the season with “Girls’ Night Out” 

          
Windsong, Cleveland 's
Feminist Chorus, ushers in the summer with "Girls' Night Out," a
joint concert with The Columbus Women's Chorus on Sunday, May 31, 4pm , at the Church of the
Covenant, 11205 Euclid Avenue 
in University Circle .. 
       
The program includes a variety of music from classical choruses and traditional
tunes to Broadway melodies and Motown hits. "This music speaks to
multiple aspects of women's lives, with an emphasis on fun," says Windsong
Artistic Director Karen Weaver.
         
Each ensemble will offer a set in turn and the concert will conclude with
selections by the combined choirs.  Accompanied by pianist Karin Tooley, Windsong will also
be joined by violinist Mary Beth Ions, bassist Gene Epstein and
percussionist Janet Pemberton.
      
Tickets, $12 in advance and $15 at the door, are available from any Windsong
