  "Not Now, Darling"

At Coach House Theatre May 21-June 7

$10 Preview Performance, Thursday, May 21 only

Coach House Theatre is getting a bit naughty this spring, with the final
show of its successful 2008-09 season, Not Now, Darling, showing May 21 to
June 7, 2009!

An uproarious comedy in the great tradition of British "sex farces," Not
Now, Darling, by Ray Cooney & John Chapman, is the story of two owners of
an upscale London fur salon. It's a side-splitting tale of attempted affairs
which falls into a tangle of delightful misunderstandings---and good fun!
Gilbert Bodley and Arnold Crouch cope with suspicious wives, mistaken
identities and scantily-clad girls hurriedly stashed in closets or out on
balconies. Make a note of it: Don't miss this jolly fun -and hilariously
sexy --- night at the theatre!

The cast of Not Now, Darling includes: Henry Bishop as Mr. Frencham, Tess
Burgler as Janie McMichael, Timothy Champion as Harry McMichael, Amanda
Davis as Sue Lawson, Jonathan Fletcher as Charlie Lawson, Holly Humes as
Maude Bodley, Dede Klein as Miss Tipdale, Scott Shriner as Gilbert Bodley,
Richard Worswick as Arnold Crouch and Karen Wood as Mrs. Frencham.

Not Now, Darling is directed by Terry Burgler, one of Coach House's two
Artistic Directors who previously helmed our production of Light up the Sky
earlier this season. Mr. Burgler has worked as an actor, director and
producer nationally and internationally, performing at the Globe Theatre in
London, and winning accolades for his work as Artistic Director at Porthouse
Theatre and Ohio Shakespeare Festival. He was named Outstanding Theatre
Artists in 2007 by Arts Alive! for his theatrical achievements, and he has
won many awards as an actor and director. He is also one of the two Artistic
Directors of Ohio Shakespeare Festival, which performs each summer at Stan
Hywet Hall & Gardens, as well as periodically at Coach House and the Players
Guild of Canton.

Not Now, Darling will be presented May 21 to June 7. Curtain times are
Thursday, Friday and Saturday at 8 p.m., with Sunday matinees at 2:30 p.m.
Dinner or Brunch is available to all theatre patrons prior to every
performance at the Akron Woman's City Club next door.

Tickets are $16. The box office opens one hour before the show. Coach House
Theatre is located at 732 W. Exchange Street, in Akron, next to the Akron
Woman's City Club, and at the corner of W. Exchange and N. Portage Path.
Reservations are recommended by calling our box office at 330-434-7741.
