Call for Submissions
Solo & 2- Person Performance Pieces 
for
“PlayActs” Performances . &. “PlayActs” . . . To Go!
 
“PlayActs” Performancesand “PlayActs”. . . To Go!  are being expanded to accept Solo and 2-Person performance pieces for its 2009-10 season from aspiring and experienced solo or duo performers for its 2009-10 "PlayActs" season.  Adult, high school & college drama students are encouraged to submit their applications.


  . Guidelines for Consideration 
         .  Performance Piece may be a . . . 
                 .   Comedy .   Drama  .   “Dramedy” .   Poetry  .   Story Telling
                 .   Musical, vocal &/or instrumental & dance, Night club/Cabaret (no “blue” material)
                 .  Completed material  (which has been performed or, is “ready to go.”)
                 .   Work-in-progress to be “road tested” before a live audience
 
   .  The Performance Piece should be no longer than approx. 8-10 minutes. 
   .  Submit a 1-page Outline/Treatment/script of the piece.
   .  Provide the Title, Synopsis, Number of performers.
   .  Indicate with music, vocal/instrumental
   .  Without music
   .  Length of performance
   .  Indicate that Performance is: “Ready- to -go” or “Work- in –progress”
 
If selected for consideration, an audition of material will be required.
If accepted:
            .  “Ready-to-go” performance will be scheduled for “PlayActs” Performances or  
                  “PlayActs” . . . To Go!
            .  “Work-in-progress” will receive Reading, coaching & development to completion. 
                 (may require additional fees.)
 
Performers must submit:
     . $25.00 non-refundable Entry Fee for each Performance Piece to be considered.

Submissions.Make $25.00 check for each submission payable & mail complete application to:
