THREE AFRICAN AMERICAN ACTORS NEEDED
 FOR PLAY PREMIERE 

Auditions for the premiere of “Looking Out” a new play by national award winning playwright, Max Bush, will be held on Wednesday July 22 from 7:00 – 9:00pm at the First Baptist Church of Greater Cleveland, 3630 Fairmount Blvd. The premiere of the play commissioned by First Baptist will be October 29, 30 and 31, 2009 at FBC with performances at another venue in Cleveland on Nov. 5, 6 and 7.  The play, a mystery set in Cleveland, follows the lives and relationships of teens and the adults who try to influence and guide them as they strive to pursue their life paths and dreams while being confronted by the stresses of race, social issues and city life. Many members of the greater Cleveland community were interviewed as part of the process of creating this intriguing work.

Actors needed for the roles of:

Jamal – 19 and street smart
Darius - 16 a junior in high school and a serious student
Latisha – 19 African American female
