Putting It Together

A grand showcase of the prodigious talents of Stephen Sondheim

 

Auditions:

BY APPOINTMENT

Between 7 p.m. - 9:30 p.m.

Cast requirements:

1 Male (age 40+)

1 Female (age 40+)

3 to 5 Men and Women age 20 - 35

 

Prepare:

TWO songs with accompaniment - one verse only please. Songs may be from the show. Bring sheet music in the correct key. An accompanist will be provided.

 

 

Director:

Terry Burgler is a professional director, actor, writer and educator. He has performed on the Globe Theatre stage in London and acted and directed at numerous regional theatres across the country, including McCarter Theatre, the Pennsylvania Shakespeare Festival, Stage/West and Theatre Virginia, where he served for 13 seasons and ranks as the most successful Artistic Director in that theatre's 50-year history. For four years, he was Artistic Director at Porthouse Theatre and is currently is one of the two founding Artistic Directors of the Ohio Shakespeare Festival.  Mr. Burgler is a member of the Society of Stage Directors and Choreographers (SSDC) and Actor's Equity Association (AEA). His most recent directing assignment for Weathervane was last winter's production of A Midsummer Night's Dream, as collaboration between Weathervane and Ohio Shakespeare Festival. Previously, he directed Weathervane's record-breaking Ragtime.

 

Run Dates:

September 10 - 27, 2009

Thursdays at 7:30 p.m.

Fridays and Saturdays at 8 p.m.

Sundays at 2:30 p.m.
