WHAT AN OUTSTANDING WEEKEND!!!!!!
Why, you ask?  Why not??  RENT performed to 2500 people at the Canton PALACE THEATRE in one weekend!  And each show was OUTSTANDING!!  All three performances had a Standing Ovation!!  Thank you so much to everyone who attended this production.....you all helped make it a success!!  Kudos to Marci Saling, director; Brenton Cochran, musical director; and stage manager, Dana Anderson. These three people, plus so many more wonderful theatre people that pitched in to make this show happen....(you know  who you are)......AND most important, the CAST!!  What can I say again, except OUTSTANDING....the vocals, the drama, the comedy, the ensemble.......OUTSTANDING!!

PS.  We especially want to thank our patrons for this production...your financial support was invaluable..and again, you know who you are!!

Now onto our next production.....GODSPELL, JR.  opens this Friday at 7:30 pm (please note: not 8 pm) for a two weekend run, 4 performances each weekend. Call NCP office for more information 330-494-1613.

HEY!!  Anyone have any exciting news to pass along in our newsletters?? That is, exciting theatre news?  Call Brenton in the office and tell him and we will get it to print!

AUDITIONS:
Monster in the Closet  (Youth production in the Youth Theatre)  Ages: l2-l8
August l9 and 20 at NCP Youth Theatre.

August 5 - Arts Committee l pm at the Youth Theatre....anyone interested in being on this committee should contact Mary at 330-499-6511....we are always looking for self motivated people interested in the ARTS!  We are, at this time, working on our fundraising event to be held at Fieldcrest....a Murder Mystery called Funeral for a Gangster....the setting is the 20's..with lots of dance hall girls, gambling and MURDER.    Time:  Halloween night, of course!

August l3 - NCP Encore Players l pm....meeting in the Studio Theatre at NCP. We are inviting all seniors to attend this very important meeting to discuss new ideas on entertainment for the community this upcoming season....

AND, last but not least, remember, we are always looking for Production Partners for our productions, as the expenses continue to rise.  Especially note:  Anyone wanting to help defray expenses and be part of our Christmas show, The Littlest Angel, call NCP office and get details....free tickets, free food and special treatment!!  What more could you ask?
