DRACULA THE COMEDY AUDITIONS AT CASSIDY THEATRE

The Story: Dracula: The Comedy written by Bruce Michalski takes place several years after the famous Dracula incidents. The Count is now reformed and no longer feeds on innocent victims. He is eager to go back to England and show his old friends his new ways. It’s Halloween night...will his new ways hold true or will he be too tempted?

AUDITION DATES: 		Saturday August 1st 7-9pm
           				Sunday August 2nd 7-9pm
				Callbacks:  Wednesday August 5th 4-6pm (if needed)

PRODUCTION DATES:	Production dates are September 11- 27, 2009
				Friday and Saturday @ 8:00 pm, Sunday @ 3:00pm

NEEDED: 	5 Men (ages 20-60) 
		5 Women (ages 20-60)
Character Breakdown: *Age ranges are approximate*
Johnathan Harker: 25-35; narrator/leading man (British)
Rosalee Mashugana: 35-50; gypsy innkeeper (Eastern-European)
Gisella Dracula: 20-30; Dracula's beautiful sister (Eastern-European)
Count Dracula: 25-40; the great vampire, now reformed (Eastern-European)
Dr. Seward: 	40-60; brilliant doctor; owner of the sanitarium, Lucy’s father (British)
Dr. Van Helsing: 40-60; expert on the occult, professor (British)
Renfield: 20-35; recovering lunatic (British)
Lucy Seward: 20-30; proper young lady, recovering from Dracula's last visit, engaged to Johnathan (British)
Mina Lott:  20-30; proper young lady, recovering from Dracula's last visit (British)
Mrs. Primbottom: 40-60; rich old lady (British)

AUDITION REQUIREMENTS: Please bring a current headshot/ picture and resume.  Prepare a 1-2 minute comedic monologue or be prepared to read from the script. Call backs will be held at the end of each audition day. Please be prepared to stay for cold readings and be prepared to do a British or Eastern European dialect/accent.
