    /Fridays & Saturdays at 8 PM through August 22nd*
    *Sundays August 2, 9 & 16 at 2 PM*

'CVLT's /Grease/ is the one that you want.'
/Bob Abelman, News-Herald/

'With fine directing and an exuberant cast, /Grease/ is as much fun as
ever,
especially here at CVLT.'
/Herb Hammer, Chagrin Valley Times/

Your 'Summer Nights' simply aren't complete without a visit to the
familiar halls of Rydell High School in the Jim Jacobs/Warren Casey
musical Grease! Songs like 'Greased Lightning', 'Beauty School Dropout',
'We Go Together' and of course 'Summer Nights' have made this 50s-era
rock 'n' roll musical an American cultural icon.

When Grease ended its initial New York run in 1980, it was the longest
running show in Broadway history, and remains the 12th-longest running
to this day. The 1978 feature film starring John Travolta and Olivia
Newton-John only boosted the popularity of the show, as did the 2007
revival and associated reality TV show, "You're The One That I Want!"
With that kind of track record, it's no surprise that Grease has become
a staple of American community theater. CVLT's production rounds out our
79th consecutive season and is sure to knock your bobbysox off!

*Starring:* Kelly Aker, Brianna Arko, Paige Boyer, Taras Chopenko, Sarah
Gajewski, Jon Gellott, Craig Gifford, Atlie Gilbert, Brandon Hood,
Kourtney Jones, Alex LaForce-Marzullo, Eric Oswald, Greta Rothman, Jerry
Schaber, Steven R. Tiderman, Nicholas Toney, Michelle Ungar, Katelyn
Vogias, Patricia Welsh, and Scott Zolkowski.

*/80 Years of Knockin' 'Em Dead/*
CVLT has produced over a hundred musicals since 1930. In honor of the
80th Season, over a dozen familiar leading characters from these
musicals have been summoned to the stage for a benefit concert. This odd
array of personalities makes life hell for the director and stage
manager, but the situation takes a fatal turn when the overworked
costumer is found murdered on the stage!

Who's to blame? Was it the gunslinging 'Curly' from /Oklahoma/? Perhaps
the lunatic swordsman 'Don Quixote' from /Man of La Mancha/? And what
about the bloody-handed 'Maria' from /West Side Story/ or the
overbearing 'Mama Rose' from /Gypsy/? It's up to the audience to help
'Inspector Gotcha' and 'Detective Ketchum' crack the case!

The Thursday, Friday, Saturday performances will be at 8 PM and the

*LAST CHANCE FOR BRICK PAVERS THIS SUMMER! *
CVLT's front walkway is quickly filling up with custom-engraved brick
pavers! The pavers are a unique way to commemorate, honor, remember, or
celebrate your events or loved ones while supporting the Chagrin Valley
Little Theatre Endownment Fund.

These bricks can only be put into the ground when the weather is warm,
and only when a 'critical mass' of orders is reached. We are on the
verge of laying another round of bricks, so if you've been considering
getting one for your family, friends or business (starting at just $75!)
now is the time to order! Visit http://www.CVLT.org/bricks to order
online or download the mail-in form.

*ACCENT ON YOUTH IN WEST GEAUGA SCHOOLS*
CVLT's /Accent on Youth/, an outreach program which produces relevant
plays for young audiences on such difficult and significant issues as
drug abuse, physical abuse, conflict resolution, date rape, and teen
suicide, is proud to have added the West Geauga school system to its
growing area of participation. /AOY/ uses student actors in plays to act
as a catalyst for change through the power of live theatre, and is made
possible through the interest and guidance of the Ridgecliff Foundation
<http://www.ridgecliff.org/>.
