"*CITY OF ANGELS" ON STAGE AT SOLON CENTER FOR THE ARTS

*Solon Center for the Arts Summer Stock Theater returns to the main stage
August 13 through 16. This year, local teens and young adults will perform
the full length musical comedy "City of Angels" by Larry Gelbart (of the TV
show MASH fame), Cy Coleman and David Zippel.

"City of Angels" is a tribute to the Hollywood heyday of Film Noir. This
musical captivates audiences by cleverly intertwining two storylines - one
from the "real life" of a young movie writer and the other from his epic
detective flick. With a bold, brassy score and rich, colorful characters, it
is no wonder that this piece won multiple Tony Awards when it first appeared
on Broadway.

Kristina J. Ferencie directs the cast of "City of Angels" together with
Musical Director William Shaffer and Assistant Director Christine A. Prince.
Members of this highly talented young cast include Rachel Brown, Allison
Cartellone, Melissa Cartellone, Chris Chehade, Zachary Davidson, Kirk
Eichelberger, Jr., Grace Falasco, Elyse Frank, Emily Gazdag, Steven Gazdag,
Chelsea Guest, Arthur Haynam, Ryan Ho, Eric Kapusta, William Kraizel,
Natalie Kreft, Shane Krenn, Brandon Lambert, Bethany Lewis, Sharon Pearlman,
Brianna Razzante, Brittany Rhea, Elysha Rothenberg, Lindsay Simon, Kyle
Skaggs, Stephanie Vlk and Andy Weyenberg.

"City of Angels" opens Thursday, August 13 at 7:30 pm in the Calvetta Bros.
Floor Show Theater at SCA. Additional performances are on Friday, August 14
and Saturday, August 15, both at 7:30 pm. The final performance is a matinee
on Sunday, August 16 at 4:00 pm.
