Robin Hood: August 7-22

ANTIC's Robin Hood is written by Larry Blamire, who has merged the conflicting legends and ballads which surround the outlaw folk hero, Robin Hood and created an action-packed drama. The roles challenge and reinvent the myth, and include: all the Merry Men and Women, the Sheriff of Nottingham, King John, Marian, and Robin who only by chance finds himself a hero. But true to the legend, all ends well: The Sheriff's sleazy schemes fail, King John's vicious taxes are rescinded, the Sherwood Foresters are finally legitimized, and a justice descends on England's green and pleasant land.

Performances are Fri. and Sat., August 7 & 8, 14 & 15, and 21 & 22, 2009. All Curtains are at 8:00 PM. All performances are held at the Quirk Cultural Center at 1201 Grant Avenue, Cuyahoga Falls, OH 44223.
