St. Petersburg, FL - Cleveland native Writer, Director and Producer for
Scatter Brothers Productions, Ben Daniele, will be coming home August 14, 15
and 16 to represent the short version of their feature film “Pocket Full of
Gold” at this year’s Indie Gathering Film Festival.
“This is one of the top 25 must-go film festivals in the nation,” said
Daniele. “I'm excited to be back home in Cleveland to represent our film.”

Daniele, who was born and raised in Cleveland, heads this Florida-based
production company and takes their films on the road. Since graduating
college he’s directed three award-winning short films, produced and acted in
many others. In 2007, Ben was recognized by Universal Pictures in Los
Angeles as an up-and-coming director to-be, had a special screening at
2007’s Sundance Film Festival in Park City, Utah, for writing, directing,
and starring in the short comedy called “Gas”.

Other members of the Scatter Brothers team include Doug Tschirhart, Daniel
Lee Simmons, Miller Hudson, and Niko Fotopoulos. Their collaboration on
“Pocket Full of Gold” has earned them immediate recognition. At the film’s
premiere in May, guests and filmmakers from all over Florida, Georgia,
Louisiana, and Los Angeles attended two, completely sold out shows to show
their support and watch the new release.
“This is a very dramatic, suspenseful, and gripping story that will keep the
audience wanting more,” said Daniele. “Ollie and Abby have a beautiful
marriage, but within every couple’s happiness lies a sleeping demon, and
Ollie is wavering on the edge: 5 years of marriage, 1 year of sobriety, 1
weekend apart. What could possibly go wrong? At 11:34pm, Abby will find out.
The following morning, so will Ollie.”
Sunday Aug. 16th at 12:05 PM in screening room B - Pocket Full of Gold

The film has already been awarded third place in the nation in the Short
