*AFTER SCHOOL ARTS4KIDS HAS EXTENDED OPEN REGISTRATION*

*AT **SOLON** **CENTER** FOR THE ARTS*



            Solon Center for the Arts’ after school program, Arts4Kids, has
extended its open registration for the 2009 - 2010 school year through
Tuesday, August 18 at 8:00 pm. The Arts4Kids program, for kindergarten
through fourth grade children, is a creative, educational and inspiring
alternative for after-school involvement. Solon City Schools provides the
busing from the elementary schools to the arts center. However, SCA accepts
students from all communities.



            Students are able to participate in four disciplines including
music, theater, movement and art in a safe and nurturing environment. At the
start of each class, a snack and juice box are provided for the children.



            Arts4Kids is currently offered on Monday through Friday from
2:45 pm until 4:30 pm with additional specialty art and theater classes held
from 4:30 pm to 6:00 pm.  The Arts4Kids school year follows the Solon City
Schools’ calendar and is composed of four sessions, each approximately nine
weeks long. Students can be registered from one to all five days a week
based on interest and family needs. Tuition is $15.00 per day.
