THE SCHOOL OF ROCK PRESENTS THREE UNIQUE SHOWS FROM THREE GENERATIONS OF
ROCK N' ROLL

Rocky River, OH- Students will take the stage at the Rock Hall's 40th
Anniversary tribute to Woodstock on Saturday, August 22nd at 1pm, Main
Stage at the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame (FREE SHOW) with an encore
presentation Friday, August 28th at 6:30pm at the Brothers Lounge (11609
Detroit Avenue, Cleveland). Performing 24 songs from the festival including
Jimi Hendrix, the Who, Paul Butterfield Blues Band, Santana and CSNY. The
kids will be decked in homemade tie dyes and other 60's garb fully prepared
to spread the message of peace and love including their own version of the
"Fish Cheer". What's even cooler is that 39 other Schools of Rock
nationwide will be celebrating Woodstock's 40th in their own respective
cities.

The school then goes even deeper into the roots of rock n' roll with the
Chicago Blues show on Friday August 21st and Saturday, August 29th at 6:30pm
at the Brothers Lounge (11609 Detroit Avenue, Cleveland). The students
will play an electrified set list from old Chicago greats including Howlin'
Wolf, Muddy Waters, Buddy Guy, B.B. King, Koko Taylor and more.

Our third selection is music that speaks to another generation but with a
little more angst; The Stone Temple Pilots vs. Smashing Pumpkins on
Saturday, August 22nd at 6:30pm and Saturday, August 29th at 3:30pm at the
Brothers Lounge (11609 Detroit Avenue, Cleveland). This show is a very hard
rockin' overview of the bands' illustrious and turbulent careers.

Tickets for all shows (except Rock Hall) are $7 in advance and $10 at the
door.
