Yes, indeed, that subject line was worth the all-caps and three exclamation
points-- if you come around looking for OddyFest tomorrow night with your
$5, you will not find us! We have moved to Friday nights, and we now offer
all shows free, *gratis*, and *for nothing*.

Come on down to *the Brody-Nelson Room of the Cleveland Heights Library
(2345 Lee Road) this Friday night, 9/4*, for "Self-Portraits," our
self-reflexive start to the sophomore year of OddyFest. The
introspective *program
kicks off at 7:15 *with the solid keyboard & vocals of Allison Bencar,
followed by a dinner-in-the-life play called "The Normal Engels" followed by
a one-man look at an identity in between, "McInjun." Did I mention all of
this is for *FREE*?

Books, albums, and T-shirts from OddyFest will be on sale, if you really
want to buy something, but join us nerds at the library this Friday night
for some free live theatre and music! And it's *FREE*!!

*Self-Portraits: OddyFest #13*

* *

*Kicking off its second year and its first set of free Friday shows at the

Guest musician Ms. Bencar kicks off the set with

some acoustic autobiographical tune-age.

*McInjun by Cat R. Kenney (reading)*

Matt Greenfield plays a 15-year-old male avatar of Cat named Cat,

a geeky youth of mixed Indian-Irish descent who finds himself stranded

at the Playhouse and must make a late-nite trek back home to the West Side.

*The Normal Engels by Matt Greenfield (reading)*

* *

The Greenfield Family plays themselves in this delightfully prosaic look at
Jewish-American family life on a Shabbat evening.
