Announces an Arts Administration Internship 
for Fall Semester 2009-2010
 
This graduate school student will be enrolled in a NE Ohio graduate theater or arts administration program. The focus will be on management capabilities. A minimum of 4 years of experience in theatre is required.  The intern will work 15 hours weekly with the Managing Director and other staff members with the following responsibilities:
 
¨Use of the Internet and computer technology.
¨Handles tickets and reservations for season offerings. 
¨Conducts marketing and follow-up for touring program
¨Assembles materials for grant programs
¨Can implement Equity and non-equity actor contracts
¨Investigates royalties, scripts, and research materials
¨Attends staff meetings with Development, Education,
   Accounting, Artistic Director, and production staff. 
¨Assists with mainstage productions, rehearsal and 
   performance scheduling.
 
The location of this opportunity is in our office in Cleveland Heights and, 
during performances, at the Cleveland Play House.
 
A negotiated stipend is available to the selected intern.
