[NEohioPAL] BOY ACTORS may audition for SEUSSICAL!

Saint Joseph Academy High School is holding auditions for the musical  
SEUSSICAL on WEDNESDAY, SEPTEMBER 9 at 4 p.m. with callbacks on THURSDAY,  
SEPTEMBER 10 at 4 p.m.  We will be seeing younger than high school aged  boys for 
the role of JOJO.
 
PLEASE NOTE: it is possible we will cast the role of JOJO as a  small high 
school girl, but we would like to see some young boys audition to  keep our 
options open.
 
 
SEUSSICAL  is a delightful musical based on the many books of Dr. Seuss.  
It  is a charming show with a wonderful story and marvelous songs.  The main 
story is about Horton the  Elephant and his journey to save the  people in 
the tiny world of the Whos, but the show also weaves in many Dr. Seuss  
characters.  

DATES:  Rehearsals  will be Mondays through Thursdays from 4:00-6:30 p.m., 
starting Monday, September  14th.  In  mid-October, weekday rehearsals will 
extend to 7 p.m.  Performances will be November 13-22, 2009 on Fridays,  
Saturdays and Sundays (matinees on Sundays). 
WHAT  TO PREPARE: Bring  sheet music of a two-minute cutting of a song that 
will show off your vocal  range, your acting skills and your personality.  
A piano accompanist will be provided,  but you may sing to a CD 
accompaniment IF there is no other voice on the  tape.  You may sing from the show. 
SAINT  JOSEPH ACADEMY is  located at 3430 Rocky River  Drive in Cleveland 
and the auditions will be in the  Auditorium.  Any questions can be  sent to
