Plan to spend the weekend exploring and experiencing all that historic
downtown Medina has to offer!

The Ghosts: The Medina County Historical Society and Medina Show Biz
Company, assisted by The Medina County Arts Council are once again at work
planning, a new version of “A Walk with Spirits of the Past”. The Medina
event will be held on Friday, Saturday, and Sunday, September 11, 12, and
13, 2009. This will be the Fourteenth Annual “Walk” in Medina. For
information call 330-723-2201. The walk will start at the County
Administration Building, 144 N. Broadway, then move to various locations
surrounding Public Square.

The Gardens: The Medina County Farmers’ Market will present the 2nd Annual
Fresh Food Challenge this Saturday morning, September 12th, on the square,
from 9am-1pm. Five local chefs will compete for top honors, using fresh
produce straight from the Market. Judging will take place at 11am. Donations
for food samples are only $1 per vote, and all proceeds benefit the Medina
Food Bank. Mixed Up Strings will provide dulcimer/folk music as well. (Note:
The Farmers’ Market continues every Saturday through the end of September).

The Grapes: Historic Downtown Medina presents a Wine Crawl on Saturday,
September 12th from 5 to 7:30pm. Registration is $20 per person. Glasses may
be picked up at 23 Public Square, inside Towne Square Commons. Proceeds
benefit Hospice of Medina County and the World Tour of Music. For more
