[NEohioPAL] Audition -- male late 30's, early 40's

convergence-continuum is looking to complete the cast for its upcoming
production of Ouroboros, by Tom Jacobson, and is seeking to fill a role
for a male, late 30's, early 40's, romantic-lead type.

The ingenious script of this play will be performed two ways, forwards and
backwards (sort of).  Two couples travel through time in opposite
directions.  One couple is already cast. She's an opera singer who lost
her voice and became a nun, and he's her gay best friend.  The other
couple is a priest (minister) with doubts and his his high-strung neurotic
wife. (The audition is for the priest role.)  Performed one way (scenes
1-5) , the play is "A Nun's Tale," (a comedy; the other way (scenes 5-1),
the tragic "A Priest's Tale."

The show opens Nov. 13 and runs for 16 performances through Dec. 19. (No
show Thanksgiving Day.)  We'll perform the two versions in rep: Fridays
and 2 Thurdays, Nun's Tale; Saturdays and the other 2 Thu, a Priest's
Tale.  Rehearsals would start late this month.
