[NEohioPAL] Accepting headshots and resumes for upcoming horror film!

FRIGHT TECK pictures will be looking to cast leads and supporting characters for their upcoming feature film presentation WAX, a coming of age paranormal-slasher/black-comedy focusing on a group of college students dealing with a dark force possessing their home and, inevitably, one of their own.


A bit about FRIGHT TECK PICTURES: FRIGHT TECK originated in 2006 and quickly jumped into the production of their first feature film, HELLWEEK (To view the trailer click on the following link... http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=5o3ygK595J8 ). Since production wrapped, HELLWEEK has been picked up for nation-wide distribution by Celebrity Video and will be available for purchase in January 2010. After editing was completed for HELLWEEK, FRIGHT TECK began production on their second feature film, BLACK HILL (originally titled VOODOO RISING, for an early preview check out  http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=obzR-SBC4_Q ). Editing on BLACK HILL will be completed by December of this year and will be premiering shortly-there-after. With BLACK HILL already in talks for distribution, FRIGHT TECK cant wait to follow up their sophomore effort with an even bigger, better, and all-around more lavish film production. And so we present... WAX!


The cast mainly consists of college-geared young adults. Several major parts have been cast, yet a few remain open and we will be auditioning for them within the next couple of weeks.


The remaining parts available are as follows:

-ROSS- Age 19, Female, frumpy yet endearing, she is a self-proclaimed "witch" and practices "The Craft". She is the first of the three friends to start realizing that their home is possessed by something sinister. Her look could be either more geared toward dark/goth, or some-what lighter more along the lines of Earth Mother/granola hippie. Either way, the actress must be able to pull off moments of convincing terror and suspense, as well as being able to sound convincing when speaking of her knowledge of "The Spirit Realm" and  "paranormal" events.

-JEN- AGE 19, Female, she has the all-around typical cheerleader look, yet with a sarcastic sense of humor and an air of confidence in everything she does. JEN dates DEMITRI, KATRINA'S older brother and male lead of the film. The actress must be physically in shape with an appealing all-American girl-next-door look (blue-eyes blonde hair being the ideal). She also must be capable of pulling off a series of intelligent one-liners through-out the film.

-NATASHA- AGE 23-25 , Female, an aspiring model who is currently residing in Miami, she returns to her alma moder to help her siblings throw the "Ultimate Halloween Party". Though she graduated the year before, her name is still known all across campus and she is recognized as being a legend, at times more-so in her own mind. Though she comes off as rather self-indulgent and a bit of a tart, when it comes down to it she's the type of girl who will do what-ever it takes to get the job done. She become a prominent player in the investigation behind the hauntings of her sisters house, eventually realizing that the forces they are dealing with are far more powerful then anyone had ever suspected. 

-BRIAN- AGE 20, Male, KATRINA'S studly boyfriend, he is a typical jock and a bit of a chauvinistic pig. KATRINA breaks up with him early on in the film after he is caught cheating on her with another girl. 

-MISS ALICIA LAMBURT- AGE 30-40, Female, one of the schools guidance counselors, she begins to suspect that JEN and DEMITRI'S relationship is becoming physically abusive. She is unaware of the supernatural presence that has taken over their home, and attempts to involve herself in the situation out of concern for JEN. 

-LADY CELESTE, GHOST-WHISPERER, AGE 40 +, though she appears to be a bit of an eccentric, she actually is legitimate in what she does and becomes a vital part in stopping the dark force that has taken over the house.


Other supporting roles and cameos are also available and will also be considered through-out the audition process.
