Grantseeking Baiscs for Individuals in the Arts
Wednesday, October 7, 10am-12pm

You're invited to a free class at the Foundation Center's Cooperating
Collection at the Akron-Summit County Public Library!

This course is geared towards individuals involved in the arts and
looking to fund any type of arts-related project. 

If you are an individual involved in the arts and looking for funding to
complete a project, mount an exhibition, put on a performance, conduct
research, or anything else arts-related, Grantseeking Basics for
Individuals in the Arts will show you how to:

~Identify funders in the arts. 
~Explore the option of fiscal sponsorship. 
~Create a step-by-step plan to find funding for your needs as an
individual grantseeker. 

This program will also feature a special panel of representatives from
local arts organizations, including: 

Kate Harmon, Assistant to the Director, The Mary Schiller Myers School
of Art, The University of Akron; and 
Megan L. Van Voorhis, Vice President, Community Partnership for Arts and
Culture
