Take the stress and worry out of auditioning! When you understand the expectations and prepare auditioning can be FUN! Students in this class will develop auditioning and acting skills by selecting, memorizing and performing monologues that can be used for auditions. The audition process will also be discussed with tips on material choice, presentation, resumes and what to wear. You will learn how to develop your monologue as an acting piece as well as make your monologue presentation in a confident, professional, STRESS-FREE manner!

Acting & Scene Study
FOUR Saturdays, October 24, 31 and November 7, 14
3:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m.
Instructor: Melanie YC Pepe, Director of Education, BFA
Tuition:$95

Students will build skills in active listening and responding and being in the moment in order to "stay in character." Students will be assigned two scenes and work with more than one scene partner. Working with multiple actors in a scene allows each student to practice playing the scene using your partner's choices as well as your own. This will also help the class avoid problems with absences. Put your acting skills to work and learn to work with your fellow actors as well as your director.
