Dear Neohiopal Friends:

Cesear's Forum and Helen Welch continue an engagement of cabaret offerings entitled,
A LITTLE BRIT DIFFERENT, in the intimate Kennedy's venue at PlayhouseSquare, Cleveland, Ohio.  Ms. Welch, a British singer completing U.S. Citizenship status, explores her vocal technical versatility in songs that pay homage to the artists, lyricists and composers that epitomize stylistic genre.  In consecutive Saturday evenings, her recently completed DIVAS - the songs they made famous!, permitted Ms. Welch to imprint her own take on the material, revealing the actress within each song and the artistry of those that came before.  Upcoming opportunities:  Oct. 10th:  L’CHAIM - to life! The best of Jewish composers, lyricists and singers!  Oct. 17th:  THROUGH A FILM GLASS DARKLY - songs of love, reflection and movies!

“Helen has tremendous musicianship - her intonation, phrasing and instincts are spot on. She's the real deal.”
                - Jack Schantz, Artistic Director Cleveland Jazz Orchestra

“A fabulous singer bubbling with swing, charisma and oceans of personal charm!”

                      - Byron Stripling, Artistic Director of the Columbus Jazz Orchestra.

“Helen Welch has a rare vocal quality that can move people to tears of sadness or happiness. She has performed at many of the premier venues in the UK and on Broadway. Helen's versatility as a performer is encapsulated in her dynamic, entertaining and exciting One Woman Shows.”
