Stage to Screen Acting Class
      Open to all ages! Ongoing Classes starting October 26th 2009!!

-Two part series focused on the needs of the ever day actor Learn what it takes to work in today's entertainment industry!

Acting Workshop 1-Introductory
 to Film Acting
-Build a resume-Find auditions and learn how to be a working actor in a small market such as Cleveland OH
-Head shot-Find the right
 photographer for you, and learn how to get the perfect picture to get your next job
-Monologue-Find the best monologue that will help you at your next audition
-Audition-Learn how to audition for commercials, film, and television
-Acting Technique-Theater VS. Film acting, what is the difference?
-Agent-Learn what it takes to get an agent right here in your hometown
-Script Reading, Acting Exercises, and much  more...
Make sure you have what you need to start a demo reel, get a press kit together, and get an agent!
-At the end of the workshop, there will be a script reading in-front of family and friends!

Acting Workshop 2-Advanced Film Acting
-Take your acting to the next level-Take what you have learned from previous classes, or any experience you may have and apply your talents in-front of the camera
-Acting on Camera Techniques-Learn the techniques needed to act on camera, and what is required to be in a film
-On Camera-Perform Scripted Scenes on camera for you to have at the end of the class
-Demo Reel-Have work to start or add to your demo reel
-Scripted
Scene Work, Create your own scenes, learn everything you need to know
about film acting, and have a finished product to show for it!
-At the end of the workshop, we will have a small showing for family and friends!

I suggest you take both classes if you haven't
 taken any of my workshops before to get the most benefits possible! There is a discount if you take both classes!

About the Instructor:
  ~April Needham is a senior at
 Baldwin Wallace
 College, completing her Bachelor's degree
in Film/Media and Theater Performance. You may have seen her in the
Berea Grindstone Players performance of the Sunshine Boys this past
winter. She has been involved on camera and behind the scenes in local independent films,
commercials
and t.v shows shot in and around the Cleveland area. One of her films
will be released independently across the country in 2010. She is
also the acting coach for First Star Media Productions, where she
traveled this summer to various schools around the Cleveland area.
