The Cleveland Classical Guitar Society announces its October concert,
featuring the virtuoso guitarist Robert Gruca, Sunday October 18th
2009, 3:00 PM at First Baptist Church of Greater Cleveland, 3630 Fairmount
Boulevard, Shaker Heights. A Free-will offering will be accepted. This concert
will include the works of Handel, Albeniz, Brouwer, and Regondi.

 

Robert Gruca has toured the Eastern United States and Europe with the Cleveland Orchestra. He
frequently performs throughout the United States
and Canada.
After earning his master of music degree at the Cleveland Institute of Music,
Mr. Gruca won first-place prizes in three international competitions. His 2006
recording of the works of Bogdanovic, Koshkins, Dyens, Rodrigo,
Schubert and J. S. Bach has met with great critical acclaim. In early 2010
Robert Gruca will release his second CD, which will include works of Handel
arranged for solo guitar.
