 2ND  ROUND OF AUDITIONS
 
Disney’s - 101 Dalmatians Kids

Production Dates: December 12 – December 27, 2009
Saturdays & Sundays Only 1:00 p.m.
 
AUDITION PREPARATION:Karamu House is
looking for for children and teens
ages 9 – 18, all nationalities are welcome.
Prepare a one-minute memorized contemporary
monologue OR you can read from the play.
Scripts will be provided to you when you arrive.
You must also prepare  a contemporary song of your choosing.  Please come prepared for
movement. 

AUDITION DATES: Sat, October 24, 2009,     1:00 – 3:00 P.M.
LOCATION:2355 East 89th ClevelandOhio
 
ABOUT THE PLAY: In a loving home in the city of London,
Dalmatian parents, Pongo
and Perdita
happily raise their Dalmatians puppies until the monstrous Cruella De Vil 
plots to
steal them for her new fur coat. Join all the dogs of London, as
they daringly 
rescue
the puppies from Cruella and her bumbling henchmen.
 
ROLES:
Cruella De Vil                 An
evil, rich villainess, obsessed with obtaining the Dalmatians
Horace & Jasper           Cruella’s 2 Henchman
Roger & Anita                Owners
of the Dalmatians
Pongo & Perdita           Dalmatian Parents
4 Narrators                   Canines that narrate the
story
Sgt. Tibbs                  A cat who rallies all the Londondogs
Nanny                         House keeper for Roger and Anita

Dog Catcher
Dogs of London    All the ethnic dogs of London,
(Bulldogs, Scotties, Poodles, Chihuahua’s)
Captured PuppiesDalmatians captured by Cruella, (Penny,
Lucky,Pepper, Spot, Dot)
 
REHEARSALS:  will start around October 21, 2009,
and depending upon the availability
 of the cast, rehearsals will be 3
– 6 times per week Mon – Fri, in the evenings.
