Do  ghosts really exist, or are they the product of some  overactive 
imagination?  You the audience will decide the answer  as Carol Weakland 
performs Henry James’ supernatural thriller, The Turn of the Screw  at the 
Main St. Theater in Columbiana, Ohio on October  24th and 31st at 9:00  p.m.. 
Ms.  Weakland will enact the tale of an untried governess that finds 
herself face to  face with twin phantoms of evil who seek to control the seemingly 
angelic  children in her charge.  Can she  save them, or will she be drawn 
into the depths of madness before the tale  reaches its unsettling 
conclusion?  Henry James leaves the answer entirely in the hands of his readers.    
Miss Weakland  is the  founder of the Great Expectations theater company 
which brings classical  literary works to life on stage.    She performs 
numerous one woman  shows including:  "The Belle of Amherst," “Jane Eyre, “
Wuthering Heights,” “Pride and Prejudice,” “The Scarlet  Letter,” “The Turn of 
the Screw” and “Morgen of Avalon, “The Cricket and the  Hearth” from 
Dicken’s Christmas Stories.  She is the author of, Land of  the Twilight Mist, 
published by Authorhouse and the soon to be published,  Morgen of Avalon 
series of novels.
