*FOR BETTER*

*A New Comedy about Love in the Age of Email, Cell Phones and Twitter *

*Actors’ Summit Announces the Cast *

Actors’ Summit, Hudson’s professional theater, continues its 11th season
with *For Better*, a new comedy about love and romance in the world of
non-stop electronic communication. The show will have a preview performance
on Thursday, November 5, 2009, followed by the official opening on Friday,
November 6. The play will run Thursdays, Fridays & Saturdays at 8:00 PM and
Sunday afternoons at 2:00 PM through November 22, at the theater in downtown
Hudson.

*About the Play*

*For Better* is a romantic comedy for the digital age. In our wireless world
of twitter, email, text-messaging and camera phones, do a bride and groom
really need to be in the same country to get married? If their jobs will
ever let them be in the same city at the same time, Karen and Max are going
to get married. Overlapping calls, three-party conferencing, and
simultaneous instant messages and emails create moments of sublime
confusion. Six characters cross-talking never sounded so funny and made so
much sense. A genuine 21st century farce.

"Eric Coble's hilariously funny, psychologically astute portraits hit home
with rib-tickling acuity." - *New York Times*
