[NEohioPAL] Auditions at CPT for Open Mind Firmament: An Evening of WB Yeats

Cleveland Public Theatre announces auditions for: 

Open Mind Firmament: An Evening of W. B. Yeats

Directed and conceived by Raymond Bobgan, this project is being produced
to commemorate the life of Barton Friedman, a Yeats scholar. The project
will include selections from Yeats' plays, poetry, essays, and short
fiction. 

Rehearsals begin March 1, 2010 and the show runs May 13, 2010 through
May 30, 2010. Rehearsals will take place weekday evenings and Saturday
afternoons.

 

Looking to form a diverse, multi-cultural ensemble group
AEA contracts will be considered
There are no roles available for children

 

Auditions will consist of group work (physical and vocal) and the
presentation of a prepared monologue (2 minutes in length).  Auditioners
must reserve a place at auditions, arrive on time, and be prepared to
stay for up to three hours. Please wear clothes and shoes that allow you
the freedom to move, run, and  jump.

 

Auditions will take place on the following dates and times: 

 

Monday, November 9th: 6:00pm-9:00pm

Friday, November 13th: 6:00pm-9:00pm

Auditions will be held at CPT's Parish Hall (located just east of the
Gordon Square Theatre at 6205 Detroit Avenue). Space is limited. To
