what happens when four sophisticated couples try to get their story 
straight after arriving for dinner at the home of the New York City 
Deputy Mayor, to discover their host is shot and their hostess is 
missing. Comic complications abound when everyone tries to manage the 
message and conceal the evening's events from local police and media.
