Did you know that RAGTIME is being revived this month in NYC?!  Did you know that you can see it just around the corner for a fraction of the cost?!  YOU CAN!
"But I don't go to high school shows..."  Good!  Pretend it's not a high school show- we do!  This powerful show will not seem very high school at all.  Come see what these talented students can do!

The play features over 100 students in cast, crew and orchestra pit, and is directed by Miss Amy Smialek ’00, who is also a local actor and is a member of the English and Performing Arts departments at Magnificat High School. Choral music is directed by Mrs. Mary Pokrywka ’93, orchestra is under the direction of Ms. Karen DiCarlo and dance sequences are choreographed by Mrs. Jill Hiller, all of whom are faculty members of Magnificat High School. Mrs. Mary Cachat Papa ’79 heads up costumes and props, and Mr. Tim King is technical director.

And to enjoy Ragtime even more, consider attending the Ragtime Street Fair pre-show dinner event on Saturday, November 21 from 5-7 p.m. There will be food, entertainment and live music reflective of early 1900s Americana: a Celebration of America. Tickets are $25 for adults, $20 for students and children under age 10 are $15, for the pre-show event and ticket for the play that night. Proceeds benefit the Magnificat Performing Arts Center Endowment Fund.
