PLAIN DEALER THEATER CRITIC TONY BROWN CALLS OUROBOROS, NOW ONSTAGE AT
CONVEGENCE-CONTINUUUM:

"cleverly constructed" and a "thrill-park ride,"

and goes on to state that "if you like your Appian Way a little bumpy,
"Ouroboros" isn't afraid to bite a little tail."

To find out what that means, check out the full review at

convergence-continuum, completes its 2009 season with the regional premier
of the reversible play OUROBOROS, Tom Jacobson’s mysterious and
intellectually challenging new puzzle, featuring two plays in one,
involving two unrelated American couples, each traveling through time in
opposite directions as they visit five Italian cities. They are trapped in
a strange collision of fate as they live out cross-referenced realities.
This mixture of déjà vu and shocking Twilight Zone-like inevitability
takes place in five scenes that can be performed in either order.

Seen either way, it's a mesmerizing trip into the unknown. One way (The
Nun’s Tale) it’s a comedy; the other way (The Priest’s Tale), a tragedy.
(And there's no preferred order when seeing both.) The show will run for
six weekends, with the play being performed 8 times in each order: The
Nun’s Tale on Fridays (plus two Thursdays), The Priest’s Tale, on
Saturdays (plus two Thursdays).

See it both ways and get a discounted price ($10) for your return visit.

OUROBOROS runs at 8 p.m. Thursdays, Fridays and Saturdays through Dec. 19,
at the Liminis, 2438 Scranton Rd., Cleveland, OH 44113. Tickets are $15
general admission, $12 for students and seniors (65+). For reservations
and information call 216-687-0074 or visit
http://www.convergence-continuum.org on the web.

The Nun's Tale plays on Fridays plus Thursday, Nov.19 and Dec. 10. The
Priest's Tale plays on Saturdays plus Thursday, Dec. 3 & 17. (No show
Thanksgiving Day)
