Workshop Players Announce Auditions For
Fools

Performance dates are February 4, 5, 6, 7, 12, 13, 14, 19, 20, 21 , 2010
Audition Schedule: Saturday November 21, 2 p.m. - 4 p.m. and Sunday November
22, 7 p.m. - 9 p.m., at Workshop Players Theatre-in-the-Round, located at
44820 Middle Ridge Road in Amherst.

Cast:
Seven males and three females.   Two or three could be 50+ years of age.
Characters:
Leon Tolchinsky - 30's. Ambitious school teacher, outgoing, pretty sure of
himself, charming, likeable.
Sophia Zubritsky - 20's. Quite attractive, appears naive and somewhat
innocent early on. Becomes more self assured as play develops.
Doctor Nikolai Zubritsky - 40's to  early 50's. Loving husband, good father,
straight-forward, yet not over-bearing.
Lenya Zubritsky - 40's. devoted wife, caring mother. She can be exuberant
and excitable. Always tries to do the right thing.
"Count" Gregor Yousekevitch - 40's - 50's.  A quite sure and somewhat "full
of himself" persona. Seemingly in  control until challenged by Leon.
Snetsky - 30's-40's. Town shepard who tends to lose his sheep. Means well,
friendly and helpful.
Mishkin- 30's-40's. Town postman. The mail is his business.
Slovitch- 30's-40's. Town butcher. Knows his cuts of meat and proud of it.
Yenchna - 40's. Fish vendor. She knows her fish. Likes to have everyone
think she's younger than she is, although everyone knows she isn't.
Magistrate- 30's to early 40's. Typical town official. Knows everyone and
keeps abreast of what is happening.
