Good afternoon!

Euclid is this year's site for an annual
gathering of performing medieval and Renaissance
bards from across the Midwest and the
<http://tilted-windmill.com/bms11/>Bardic Madness
event is tomorrow, Saturday, November 21!

In addition to all the singing, music,
storytelling, etc, classes, workshops, and
performances, we in
<http://filer.case.edu/org/commedia/>The Confused
Greenies will be holding a day-long session open
to any and all attendees to plot, rehearse, and
star in a brand new play in the style of commedia
dell'arte. We'll be crafting a scenario outline
early in the day based on the classic stock
character types and then improvising the action
and dialogue for a short performance as part of the evening concert.

The event is being held at the Slovenian Hall
(aka the Recher Center) at 20713 Recher Ave.,
Euclid, OH, 44119, running from 9:00am until
10:00pm. The event is being hosted by the
<http://cleftlands.cwru.edu/>Barony of the
Cleftlands, the local chapter of the
<http://www.sca.org/>Society for Creative
Anachronism. A simple lunch and a nice medieval
style dinner are available for purchase but all
other activities - from the classes, concerts,
contests, and ball - are included in the site
fee. Please see the website for more information
on the event and please join The Confused
Greenies to try some commedia improv and be on stage in only a few hours!

foolishly yours,
--Jess
