Audience members attending the opening night of the holiday production, MIRACLE ON 34TH ST., December 11 at The Youngstown Playhouse, will receive a free ticket to the show by donating a new, unwrapped toy or a child's coat for the Rescue Mission of Mahoning Valley. A receptacle will be placed in the Playhouse lobby that evening for the donations which will then be turned over to the Rescue Mission for distribution.

MIRACLE ON 34TH ST. is adapted from a book by Valentine Davies. The film version, made in 1947,starred Maureen O'Hara, Natalie Wood, John Payne and Edmund Gwenn and is considered a holiday classic. Its heartwarming message about belief and the true spirit of Christmas, makes it an ideal show for the entire family.

Playing dates for MIRACLE ON 34TH ST. are weekends, December 11-13, and December 18-20. Friday and Saturday night performances are at 7:30 p.m. and at 2:30 p.m. on Sundays. Ticket prices are $15 for adults and $12 for seniors and students. Special rates are available for groups of 10 or more.
