[NEohioPAL] male actors sought for world premiere musical

Laurel School is seeking high school-aged male actors (both singers and non-singers) to audition for its world premiere musical Little White Gloves.  Auditions will be held at Laurel School in Shaker Heights, Ohio on the following dates:

* Monday, December 7, 3:30-5:30 pm
* Tuesday, December 8, 4:30-5:30 pm

*         Or by appointment

Actors will be required to perform a side, which will be available at the audition or can be obtained ahead of time by emailing a request to sahmad at laurelschool.org.  Those who wish to audition for a singing part are asked to bring sheet music for and perform one up tempo piece and one ballad.

Performances will be Thursday, February 25, Friday, February 26 and Saturday, February 27 at 7:30 pm and Sunday, February 28 at 3:00 pm at Laurel School.

Little White Gloves is a musical comedy about a closely-knit group of friends set at a traditional New England all-girls boarding school in 1963. The school, and the life the girls have grown accustomed to, is put in danger when financial problems threaten to force the school into merging with an all-boys academy. The musical is adapted from the screenplay for the film All I Wanna Do, written and directed by Sarah Kernochan, an established screenwriter in her feature directorial debut, with music and lyrics by Nathan Motta.
